OPERATION • ISDN CONFIGURATION
Lines 1, 2, and 3 Settings
Select this option to configure SPID numbers and local numbers for
Line 1. Repeat for Line 2 and Line 3, if connected.
SPID 1 and 2
Enter SPID numbers in the space provided, if required.
Note: 1. Only the US and Canada use SPID numbers.
2. Your ISDN service provider assigns SPID numbers, if required.
3. You may be assigned 1 SPID, 2 SPIDs, or no SPIDs.
4. Refer to the Required ISDN Information section in this
manual or contact your ISDN service provider for this
information.
Local Numbers 1 and 2
Enter your local directory numbers in the space provided.
Note: 1. Your ISDN service provider assigns your local numbers.
2. You may be assigned one directory number only.
Enter the same number in the space provided for Local
Numbers 1 and 2.
3. You may be assigned two directory numbers.
Enter directory number 1 in the space provided for
Local Number 1.
Enter directory number 2 in the space provided for
Local Number 2.
Line Status for Lines 2 and 3
If ISDN lines are connected to jacks 2 and 3, make sure Line Status is
set to Enabled.
