11.3 - Device replacement
Following intervention during a signifi cant short circuit (e.g. short circuit on the starter motor) check correct
operation of the battery switch. In the event of dubious evaluation, replace in accordance with the method set
out above, and send it to MENBER'S service centre.
• Ensure that the battery switch is deactivated and that there is no voltage in the electrical system.
• Disconnect the battery negative cable.
• Disconnect the power cables from the battery switch (31A and 31).
• Ensure that there are no short circuits between the cables.
• Disconnect the bayonet connector from the battery switch wiring.
• Reconnect the battery switch, following the above operations in reverse order.
• Check correct operation of the battery switch.
12 - DETAILS OF ON-VEHICLE CONNECTION
The space below must be used by the installer to indicate the connection details on the specifi c vehicle or
other necessary information as a reminder or as indications for the user.
13 - GUARANTEE
MENBER'S products have a 24 month warranty covering manufacturing faults from the moment of sale of the
device. Conditions of warranty comply with current laws on liability.
Warranty does not include removeable parts, damages caused by negligence, incorrect installation, improper
use or failiure to comply with the precautions stated in the instruction manual.
The warranty does not cover faults caused by accidental causes.
Faults due to the fact that the device has been tampered with are excluded from the warranty.
MENBER'S will pay for repairs due to manufacturing faults, for the necessary material or workmanship,
or will replace the faulty product. Postage and other costs arising are to be paid by the customer.
In the event of ligitation with regard to products or interpretation of the conditions of the warranty the law
court of Verona has jurisdiction.
