The audio input jack is compatible with the headphone jack on a smartphone, MP3 player, or a pre-amp type output via an “aux” style 3.5mm connection. Do not connect to a line level (amplified speaker) output. Kasco recommends a 3.5mm “Y” adapter to allow for connection of the audio source to the RGB controller and a stereo amplifier simultaneously if desired. -
