2. Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 2.3 screws (1) that secure the touchpad bracket to the touchpad, and
then remove the touchpad bracket (2).
3. Detach the touchpad cable (1) from the top cover with keyboard. (The touchpad cable is attached to the
top cover with double-sided adhesive.)
4. Remove the rubber pad (2) that covers the touchpad screws.
5. Release the protective strip (3) that covers the touchpad screws.
6. Remove the six Phillips M2.0 × 1.8 screws (4) that secure the touchpad to the top cover.
7. Remove the touchpad (5) and cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad.
