Never leave the machine unattended as long as it is plugged in.
Always unplug the machine from the electrical outlet immediately after
using.
Do not view the LED light directly with optical instruments (e.g. magnifier).
The LED light corresponds with protection class 1M.
When the LED light is damaged or defective, contact your BERNINA specialist
dealer.
Use this machine only for its intended use as described in this instruction
manual.
Do not use the machine outdoors.
Do not use the machine as a toy. Increased caution is advised when the
machine is used by or near children.
This machine can be used by children over the age of eight, as well as by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of
experience and knowledge, as long as they are supervised or have been
made aware of the safe use of the machine and understand the potential
hazards that might arise from it.
Children must not play with the machine.
Cleaning and maintenance work must not be carried out by children without
supervision.
Do not use this machine if cables or plugs are damaged, or if the machine is
not working properly, has been dropped or damaged or has fallen into a
pool of water. Get in touch with the nearest BERNINA specialist and agree
how you will proceed further.
Only use the accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
Never operate this machine with any air vents blocked. Keep all air vents free
of lint, dust and fabric residue.
