D. Decal: Swing Out Arm Warning.
Part No. 995913
To swing out the centre cutterhead:
Remove the arm-retaining bolt (A) and washers.
Holding handles (B) & (C), pull out the centre cutterhead. Care must be taken to avoid contact with the Hydraulic
tank, chassis and hydraulic oil filter bowl. The cutter head lift mechanism is pivoted on the front of the swing out
arm to assist with this.
Work can now be carried out on the centre cutterhead. NOTE: The arm operates a microswitch that prevents
the engine from running or from being started unless it is in the working position.
To return the centre head to the working position:
Holding handles (B) & (C), push the cutterhead into its working position. Care must be taken to avoid contact
with the tanks, chassis and hydraulic oil filter bowl.
The arm will locate in the nylon guide to align it.
Refit the arm retaining bolt (A), washers and tighten to 50Nm.
