Requirements and Precautions for Operating Boards
Always wear ESD gloves to operating a board to prevent damage to sensitive components.
Hold the protection plate under the board with hands and handle with care.
Any vacant slot must be covered by a filler panel to
prevent foreign objects from entering the subrack or
system ventilation ducts. Foreign objects may
cause an NE failure.
Boards are fragile and vulnerable. When transporting or placing a board, exercise caution and ensure that
the board is packed in a dedicated box to protect the board against damage.
Boards must be packed with original packaging materials during transportation. If the original packaging
materials are lost, contact Huawei technical support personnel.
