3 Installing/Routing External Fibers
Prepare for Fiber Routing – Remove the Side Panel and Rat Guards from the

Cabinet

NOTE
If the side panel of the cabinet has been
removed, skip this step.
Use an M6 socket wrench to remove the ground nut

from the side panel. The removed nut must be stored
properly. (The left and right doors are symmetrical.)

Place the cabinet door on the ground. It is

recommended that you use flexible materials such as
foam to protect the cabinet door from scratches.

Remove the two screws marked in the figure and

remove the side panel in the arrow direction.

Remove rat guards from fiber channels on the top of
4
the cabinet. Push the rat guards outwards from the
inner side of the cabinet and keep them properly.
