Maintenance Kit

Canon USA has prepared an imagePROGRAF iPF6400SE Maintenance Kit
to enhance the durability of the printer, while reducing operating costs.
Reduced printer downtime can be achieved when the Maintenance Kit is
utilized. The printer's built-in counters and warning messages inform end-
users when the maintenance kit is required.

End-User Periodic Maintenance

In accordance with the user's manual, the end-user is expected to maintain
the following areas of the printer:
 Printhead cleaning (using the operation panel)
 Replacement of Printheads, Ink Tanks, Maintenance Cartridges, and rail
cleaners
 Cleaning of ink mist and other substances around external covers and
output basket area (drying of surfaces after wiping with a damp cloth)
