Troubleshooting

The electronics of the A2 F
▪ signal a fault by red backlighting on the display, and
▪ show a fault code on the display.
An integrated fault memory stores up to 15 fault messages that have
occurred most recently.
Depending on the operating mode, messages are also forwarded to
connected room controllers or room thermostats.

Possible cause
INFORMATION
Detailed information on the control system and the boiler
control panel as well as on the operating modes and para-
meter settings can be found in
control system instructions.
Detecting and remedying the cause of the malfunction.
Non-interlocking faults (see
Chap.
as there is a malfunction. Once the cause has been eliminated,
the device continues to work normally.
Interlocking faults with fault code on the display
10.4).
▪ Pushing the Exit button under the display for at least 5 s dis-
plays the "Special Level" and cancels the interlock (menu-
guided).
Possible solution
▪ Switch on the main switch for the boiler.
▪ Turn on the main switch of the heating room.
▪ Check/switch on the fuse house connection.
▪ Check/renew the boiler control panel fuse. Only use same
type of fuses!
▪ Check the operating mode setting.
▪ Check the request parameter (e.g. timer program).
▪ Increase the parameter value.
▪ Carry out hydraulic balancing.
▪ Check the operating mode setting.
▪ Check the request parameters.
▪ Increase the target hot water temperature.
▪ Reduce the draw-off rate, limit throughput.
▪ See malfunction "Maximum burner output too low".
▪ Check the burner settings and adjust if necessary
7.3).
▪ Replace the oil nozzle (see
Chap.
▪ Check the lines for contamination.
▪ If necessary, install lines with a larger line cross-section for
the supply air or flue gas.
▪ Replace the oil filter.
▪ Determine and repair the cause of the malfunction.
▪ Cancel the interlock
(see Chap.
▪ Insert X1 connector on firing unit until it clicks into place.
▪ Check the voltage on the L-N terminals of the X1 connector.
▪ Check/renew the fuse.
▪ Check/connect the plug connections.
▪ Replace oil pre-heater.
▪ Replace the burner blower.
▪ Replace the oil pump.
▪ See "No ignition" fault.
▪ Adjust ignition electrodes.
▪ Check the starting output and adjust as required.
