Fuel Planning— displays fuel requirements for direct-to navigation, point-to-
point navigation between two specified waypoints and for any programmed flight
plan. The fuel planning function requires the pilot to enter the initial amount of
fuel on board (FOB) and the flow rate (FF). You may also enter different ground
speeds (GS) to view the information based on different projected travel times. If
your installation includes a fuel flow sensor, the flow rate information will be
supplied by the fuel flow sensor and need not be entered manually.
