1. ASSEMBLING THE UPPER SHAFT AND LOWER SHAFT
a. Unpack all parts carefully.
b. Loosen the handle lock knob by turning it counter-clockwise (see Fig. A1).
c.
Align the tab (a) on the upper shaft with the hole (b) on the lower shaft.
d. Insert the tab into the hole and make sure the tab is completely locked in place.
e.
Tighten the handle lock knob by turning it clockwise (see Fig. A2).

2. ASSEMBLING THE EXTENSION SHAFT TO THE MACHINE
Assemble the extension shaft to the machine when necessary.
Assemble the lower shaft with extension shaft first. Then assemble the extension shaft

with upper shaft (see Fig. A3).

3. ASSEMBLING THE AUXILIARY HANDLE
a. Loosen and remove the 4 hex bolts for the auxiliary handle. Align the auxiliary handle
lower clamp groove with the anti-vibration circle groove on the shaft (see Fig. B1).
b. Tighten the auxiliary handle by screwing the 4 hex bolts with the hex key which is stored
on the underside of the battery housing (see Fig. B2).
WARNING: Do not install the battery pack before it has been
completely assembled. Always use gloves when handling the chain.
