Blue = Ready, the source is detected and ready to receive media
Yellow = Active. The unit is preparing and transferring data
Green = Active Operation is in process
Orange = Active. The unit is verifying data
Red = Fault. An error is detected
In the example in Figure 3-1, the software has been configured to monitor and copy
from four sources to one destination.
The destination is the LTO6 tape drive with 2242.70 GB free. The software shows
used space both in GB (0.0GB used, in this case) and graphically with a green capacity
bar that grows as the drives get full.
No cards or drives are connected, currently, to the source slots/connectors so the
software gives the message: "Please connect source". The indicator is also blue
indicating the sources are ready to receive media.
If memory cards/drives were already in place at the time the DMC software was
started, it would look like Figure 3-2: The message "source connected" along with a
green status indicator would be the first message before the copy operation actually
started.
