Clean the area around the return filter.

Locate the drain port on the function manifold
block and place a container below it. Open
the drain port.
Bodily injury hazard. Spraying
hydraulic oil can penetrate and
burn skin. Loosen hydraulic
connections very slowly to allow
the oil pressure to dissipate
gradually. Do not allow oil to
squirt or spray.

Loosen the return filter but do not remove it.
Allow the oil to drain.

Remove the return filter.

Apply a thin layer of fresh oil to the gasket of
the new oil filter.

Install the new filter and tighten it securely by
hand.

Use a permanent ink marker to write the date
and number of hours from the hour meter on
the oil filter.

Raise the platform to approximately 3 ft / 1 m.

Inspect the filter for leaks.
10 Clean up and properly dispose of any oil that
may have spilled during the installation
procedure.

Replace the Medium and High Pressure
Hydraulic Filter(s)

Locate the medium and high pressure filter(s).
Remove the filter housing using a wrench on
the nut at the bottom of the housing.
Remove the filter element from the housing.
Inspect the housing seal and replace it if
necessary.
Install the new filter element and hand tighten
the housing onto the filter head.
Use a permanent ink marker to write the date
and number of hours from the hour meter on
the oil filter.
Raise the platform 7 to 9 feet / 2,1 to 2,8 m.
Inspect the filter for leaks.
Clean up and properly dispose of any oil that
may have spilled during the installation
procedure.
