    4. ASSEMBLE THE PRODUCT Follow instructions below to assemble this product. Note that in this manual the words “left” and “right” are used to refer to the product and its parts. As such, these designations correspond to the “left” and “right” sides of a person in position to exercise on this product.

    STEP 2 Install the Moving Parts Follow instructions (a) through (e) to install the moving parts. (a) Remove screws (21) from the stride arm attached to the main frame (A1). (b) Once slip the glide rail into (Part A), then place the pedal carriage lightly on the glide rail support.
  • Page 11 STEP 2 Install the Moving Parts (Continued) (d) Separate the roller covers (A7). Snap them together into place on the product. The secure them with screws (21). (e) On the left side of the product, remove the screw (22) from the stride adjustment linkage.

    STEP 3 Install the Supports Follow steps (a) through (b) to secure the support tubes. (a) Remove support tube screws (23)(24) from the main frame (A1). (b) Insert left and right support tubes (A8)(A9) onto the axle area and base, and loosely secure them into place with screws (23)(24).

    STEP 4 Install the Stationary Handlebars Follow instructions (a) through (c) to install the handlebars. (a) First, please remove screws (25) from the left and right support tubes (A8) (A9) and then attach the stationary handlebar to the main frame and use screws (25) to secure the assembly shown in area (A).

    STEP 5 Install Stoppers and Covers Follow steps (a) through (c) to install glide rail stoppers and covers. (a) Screw stoppers (12) into place on both glide rails. (b) Remove screws (27) from the main frame (A1). (c) Snap pedestal covers (A3) together on the unit. Loosely secure screws (27), followed by screws (13).

    STEP 6 Install the footplates Follow steps (a) through (b) to install footplates. (a) Remove screws (28) from the pedal carriage as shown. (b) Detach and lift the front and back part of the footplate cushion without detaching the center Area (A). Use screws (28) to secure the footplate onto its mount on the pedal carriage.

    STEP 7 Move the Product into Place There are two techniques for moving this product. (a) One person: Grip the front base of the product and lift upward and then push the product into location for use. Be careful to avoid pinching fingers when setting the product down.

    STEP 8 Level the Product For the user’s safety and the proper functioning of the product, this elliptical trainer must sit level on a flat floor. If necessary, adjust the levelers by following instructions (a) through (c) below. (a) Loosen the leveler nut. (b) Rotate the leveler foot downward so it firmly touches the floor.

    STEP 9 Install the Power Cord (a) First remove screws (29) from the power cord socket on the product. (b) Insert the power cord into place on the product. (c) Secure power cord connector screws (29) and then insert the other end of the power cord (A12) into the appropriate power supply socket in the wall.

    STEP 10 Beware of Moving Parts This product has moving parts that could be a danger to people and animals. During use, do not insert hands or other objects into the stride adjustment slot, the opening in the rear cover, or other areas in which such action might present a hazard.

    5. UNDERSTAND THE G875 DISPLAy DISPLAy Overview The G875 elliptical trainer is designed for user convenience. With better feedback about your workout, you get better results. The following explains the display key and window functions. Please read this manual, understand the display functions, and thereby get optimum enjoyment and benefit from this product.

Each key press, the console will randomly generate a different program. VARI-STRIDE – This workout program automatically changes stride. Exercisers can select maximum stride.

CHANGE DISPLAy – This key controls the exercise feedback window, which has two rows: The top row shows CALORIES, LEVEL, TIME, DISTANCE; the bottom row shows STRIDES/MIN, STRIDE LENGTH, TOTAL STRIDES, HUMAN WATTS.

    OPERATION Workout Programs The following explains features of the workout programs. MANUAL This program allows you to manually control resistance. In manual mode, simply press WORKOUT LEVEL ▲/▼ keys to control resistance, or STRIDE ▲/▼ keys to control stride length. INTERVAL There are three interval programs: INTERVAL1:1, INTERVAL1:2, INTERVAL 2:2.

    OPERATION Workout Programs (Continued) If CUSTOM HR is selected, the target heart rate will need to be set first. The range is 84 - 199bpm with default value of 120bpm. The display will show “TARGET HR - XXX” for setting. Press ▲/▼ key or numeric keypads 0-9 to adjust the setting. Press ENTER key to confirm and start the program.

    7. ABOUT HEART RATE DETECTION Heart rate detection functions are selected at the time of purchase. Not every product has every type of heart rate detection. The following explains factors that influence the performance of two of the most common types of heart rate detection devices.

MAINTENANCE Maintenance topics are presented below in the following order: error messages, lubrication the seat carriage, maintenance schedule, task list, one-year maintenance log, and electronics block diagram. MAINTENANCE Error Messages ERROR_1_x, ERROR_2_x, ERROR_3_x, ERROR_4_x, ERROR_5_x, ERROR_6_x, ERROR_7_x and ERROR_8_x. Error messages will appear on the display when the Micro Inverter detects an abnormality.

    MAINTENANCE Error Messages (Continued) ERR0R_8_x Error messages will appear on the display when the Micro Inverter or stride- length drive board communication is abnormal. Error code explanations follow: ERROR_8_1_: When power on, the communication to the Micro Inverter is abnormal. ERROR_8_2_: When power on, the communication to the Micro Inverter is normal, however an abnormality occurs during operation.
