ENGAGEMENT SPEED CHECK
1. Place the machine on a level surface of hard
packed snow.
2. Check:
S Clutch engagement speed
Checking steps:
S Start the engine, and open the throttle lever
gradually.
S Check the engine speed when the machine
starts moving forward.
Out of specification ! Adjust the primary
sheave.
BRAKE PAD INSPECTION
1. Apply the brake lever.
2. Inspect:
S Brake pad
Wear indicator 1 nearly contacts the brake
disc ! Replace the brake pads as a set.
SLIDE RUNNER INSPECTION
1. Inspect:
S Slide runner 1
Cracks/damage/wear ! Replace.
2. Measure:
S Slide runner thickness a
Out of specification ! Replace.
