Cleaning, Care & Routine Maintenance
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Servicing of internal components inside of the
cabinet of the FreeStyle or FreeStyle 5 must be
performed by the oxygen provider.
The operator is responsible for the following
maintenance procedures.
• Weekly – Clean the Air Intake Filter
WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
OPEN OR REMOVE THE PLASTIC
COVERS OF THE FREESTYLE OR
FREESTYLE 5. THE UNIT SHOULD
ONLY BE OPENED BY A QUALIFIED
SERVICE TECHNICIAN.
AIR INTAKE FILTER
Air enters the FreeStyle and FreeStyle 5 through
prevents dust and other large particles in the air
from entering the unit.
At least once per week, the Air Intake Filter should
be cleaned. Your oxygen provider may advise
the operating conditions. Follow these steps to
properly clean the Air Intake Filter

BATTERY PACK STORAGE
The Oxygen Concentrator battery does not need
to be fully discharged before recharging. It is
recommended to charge the Oxygen Concentrator
battery after each use.
Do not place the battery in or near a microwave or
other cooking appliances. Do not leave the battery
in a location exposed to excessive heat, such as in
direct sunlight or in a car. Doing so could cause
