MATCO TOOLS must be notified within 30 days of the failure, so as to provide instructions on how to proceed with the repair of your welder and warranty claim processing.

    GENERAL SAFETY RULES WARNING: Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in serious injury. CAUTION: Do not allow persons to operate or assemble this plasma cutter until they have read this manual and have developed a thorough understanding of how this plasma cutter works.
  • Page 4 - Do not allow any body part to come in contact with the material being cut, or to the ground or electrode from another plasma cutter or welder. - Do not cut if you are in an awkward position. Always have a secure stance while cutting to prevent accidents.
  • Page 5 UV and IR Arc Rays The plasma cutting arc produces ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) rays that can cause injury to your eyes and skin. Do not look at the plasma cutting arc without proper eye protection. - Always use safety glasses, a shield or a helmet that meets ANSI Z49.1 standards for plasma cutting.
  • Page 6 Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.  Store idle MPPC15I. When this unit is not in use, store it in a secure place out of the reach of children. Inspect it for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use.

    18 lb. DESCRIPTION The MPPC15I is an inverter powered 120V input, 16 amp output plasma cutter that cuts mild steel up to 1/8ʺ making it a great tool for your cutting needs. It cuts all electrically conductive materials. See chart below. It cuts with a narrow kerf that results in a smaller heat affected zone for reduced warping.
  • Page 8 AIR PRESSURE DISPLAY The built-in pressure display is used for reading the output air pressure when cutting. AIR PRESSURE ADJUSTOR It is used to adjust the air pressure. The air pressure can be read from the air pressure display on the front panel.

    INSTALLATION • High voltage danger from power source! Consult a qualified electrician for proper installation of receptacle. This cutter must be grounded while in use to protect the operator from electrical shock. • Do not remove grounding prong or alter the plug in any way. Do not use any adapters between the cutter’s power cord and the power source receptacle.

    OPERATION High voltage danger from power source! Consult a qualified electrician for proper installation of receptacle at the power source. This cutter must be grounded while in use to protect the operator from electrical shock. If you are not sure if your outlet is properly grounded, have it checked by a qualified electrician.
