Carefully press on the fuel pump (11) several times until fuel comes into the pump. Slide the choke (4) to 'cold start'. Slowly pull the cranking rope with its handle (5) until you feel a resistance.

To obtain good cutting results the free motion between the blades and the sword must be correctly adjusted.
