• Avoid touching the electronic components with your hands as the semiconductors may be
damaged by static electricity.
• Note that labor charges to install optional items by our customer service support staff shall
be separately chargeable.
1. Turn the transceiver OFF, then unplug the control cable from the front panel.
2. Remove the four screws from the front panel.
3. Carefully lift the back case of the front panel.

4. Refer to the figure to install the BU-4.
Check the direction of the connector and plug the BU-4 in all the way to the back.
5. Carefully attach the back cover and secure it with the four screws.
Do not tighten the four screws with excessive force.
