This section is designed to select the SATA controller and the type of hard disk drive which are
installed in your system unit.

SATA Controller(s)
This field is used to enable or disable Serial ATA devices.
SATA Speed
This field is used to select SATA speed generation limit: Auto, Gen1, Gen2 or Gen3.
SATA Mode Selection
The mode selection determines how the SATA controller(s) operates.
AHCI Mode
This option allows the Serial ATA devices to use AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Inter-
face).
Intel RST Premium Mode
This option allows you to create RAID or Intel Matrix Storage configuration on Serial
ATA devices.
Serial ATA Port 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and Hot Plug
These fields are used to enable or disable the serial ATA port and its hot plug. Serial
ATA Port 5 is used to configure SATA signal of M.2.
