The EZ Connect ™ Wireless Cable Modem Gat eway can be inst alled in any locat ion where you
have cable int ernet access, and t he cable int ernet service provider has approved t he EZ
Connect ™ Wireless Cable Modem Gat eway. To conf irm you meet t hese 2 crit eria point s, please
cont act your local ISP.
For general inst allat ion please f ollow t he guidelines out lined below t o best perf ormance:

Keep t he Wireless Cable Modem Gat eway away f rom any heat ing devices.
•
Do not place t he Wireless Cable Modem Gat eway in a dust y or wet environment .
•
For opt imum wireless perf ormance, inst all t he Wireless Cable Modem Gat eway away
f rom ot her elect ronic devices, such as Monit ors / TV / 2. 4GHz Cordless Phones. These
devices can hamper your wireless t hroughput and dist ance.
The EZ Connect ™ Wireless Cable Modem Gat eway can be posit ioned t wo ways, horizont al and
vert ical.
To inst all t he Wireless Cable Modem in a vert ical posit ion, on t he lef t side of t he device, when
looking at t he LEDs – t here is a built -in base st and. Pull out t he st and out and t urn it 90 degrees
and posit ion t he gat eway on it s side. See t he dif f erent Inst all posit ions below:
