Note:
The low color mode is recommended for low speed connections such as those over a
Wide Area Network or home DSL. If you are connecting over a LAN at high speeds you

Acer Remote Management Card (ARMC) User's Guide
Description
This option allows the ARMC card to send 16 bits per pixel color.
This setting is recommended for faster connection speeds or over a
LAN connection. This is the default setting.
This option allows the ARMC card to send 8 bits per pixel color.
This setting is recommended for lower connection speeds or over a
WAN connection.
Place a check in this box if you want to use hardware compression.
By default compression is not enabled. Compression can reduce the
frame rates, but increase the color output. Use compression only
when network traffic is expected to be low and graphic intensive
applications are NOT used. Best used for slower host systems.
This button allows you to start the redirection of the host system's
display, keyboard and mouse. See the Redirection section in this
chapter for more information on how to use redirection. It is a
powerful feature of the ARMC card.
