Adjusting the fax darkness

Load an original document into the ADF tray or on the scanner glass.

From the home screen, touch Fax, and then enter the needed information.

Adjust the Darkness setting.

Send the fax job.

Viewing a fax log

Note: You may need administrative rights to view the fax logs.

Open a web browser, and then type the printer IP address in the address field.
Notes:
View the printer IP address on the printer home screen. The IP address appears as four sets of
numbers separated by periods, such as 123.123.123.123.
If you are using a proxy server, then temporarily disable it to load the web page correctly.

Click Settings > Reports > Fax.

Click Fax Job Log or Fax Call Log.

Blocking junk faxes

From the home screen, touch Settings > Fax > Analog Fax Setup > Fax Receive Settings > Admin Controls
> Block No Name Fax.

Apply the changes.

Holding faxes

From the home screen, touch Settings > Fax > Analog Fax Setup > Fax Receive Settings > Holding Faxes.

Select a mode.

Forwarding a fax

From the home screen, touch Settings > Fax > Analog Fax Setup > Fax Receive Settings > Admin Controls.

Configure the Fax Forwarding, Forward To, and Forward to Shortcut settings.

Apply the changes.
