Flow-Through Ventilation System
Your Oldsmobile's flow-through ventilation system
supplies outside air into the vehicle when it is moving.
Outside air will also enter the vehicle when the h :er or
the air conditioning fan is running.
Ventilation Tips
Keep the hood and front air inlet free of ice, snow, or
any other obstruction (such as leaves). The heater
and defroster will work better, reducing the chance
of fogging the inside of your windows.
When you enter a vehicle in cold weather, select
the
LOWER setting, then turn the blower fan to high for
a few moments before driving away. This will blow
moist air from intake ducts toward the floor, not the
windshield. It reduces the chance of fogging the
inside of your windows.
0
Keep the air path under the front seats clear of
objects. This helps air to circulate throughout your
vehicle.
Audio Systems
The following pages describe the audio systems
available for your Oldsmobile, and how to
get the best
performance from them. Please read about the system
in
your vehicle.
Setting the Clock
No matter which audio system you have in your vehicle,
setting the clock is easy.
To set the clock, press and hold the
H R or MN button
until the number in the display begins to change.
Let up
as it gets close to the correct time. There will be an
initial two-second delay before the clock goes
into the
time-set mode. The A or P in the display designates AM
or PM in clock adjust mode. The A or P replaces the
channel momentarily. The clock may be set with the
ignition off.
