Passenger Temperature Control
The right front seat
passenger can control
the temperature of
their seating area.
Press the PASS button
on the main control
panel to activate the
passenger comfort
control.
Adjust the temperature using the control on the
passenger's door. The passenger temperature setting can
be up to 5
O F
(3
O
C) cooler or warmer than the primary
setting by turning the knob toward blue for cooler, or
turning the knob toward red for warmer.
If the climate control system is off, activating either
control will place the system in automatic mode.
If you have this feature, sun on one side of the vehicle
will cause the climate control system to automatically
supply cooler air to that side.
Extended Idling with Automatic Electronic
Climate Control
When the engine idles for a long time, the outside
temperature sensor may be affected by warrn air from
the engine. The climate control system may blow air
that is too cool. This should stop once the vehicle is
moving again. Extended idling is not recommended. See
