SECTION 5 - SPECIFICATIONS & OPERATOR MAINTENANCE
Hydraulic oil must be replaced on an annual basis, otherwise pre-
mature wear and component failure may occur.
Follow these guidelines when servicing the hydraulic system:
• Check oil level only when the platform is fully lowered.
• Refill with Grade 32 mineral oil only.
• Do not overfill the hydraulic oil reservoir. The correct oil level is
approximately 1/3 from the base of the reservoir.
• Ensure hydraulic connections around the pump and base of cyl-
inder are tight, undamaged, and without leaks.
To drain the oil from the tank:
1. Fully elevate the platform.
2.
Disconnect the "P" connection at the pump manifold and
hold open end over a container suitable for hydraulic oil.
NOTE:
Use a container with a capacity of approximately 5 liters that is
suitable for collecting hydraulic oil. To prevent oil from splashing
while draining, fill the container with approximately 2 liters of oil

before placing the open end of the hose inside.

At the ground controls, press the lift down button until the
platform is returned to the stowed position.
4.
Secure the hose, then refill the tank at the fill cap (2) with 1-2
liters of hydraulic oil.
