INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
MODEL V8612H
The following information covers the installation of the
V86 12H Tamperproof Ceiling-Mounted Housing.
This equipment must be installed in conformance with
national, state, and local electrical codes.
The compact V8612H
means of concealing a small CCD video camera. It can
be mounted in most types of ceilings. The V8612Hmay
be installed in a suspended ceiling either by cutting an
appropriate hole in an existing tile or by using one of the

are available: the V8612H-CP is a fixed ceiling panel
and V8612H-ACP is an adjustable ceiling panel which
allows 360 degree position adjustment capability for
the V8612H housing.
Provision is made for the attachment of a4-inch junction
box on the upper housing for electrical connections. The
routing into the housing.
The V8612H Housing can be installed easily in either
suspended or permanent ceilings. Refer to Figure 1 for
housing dimensions.

the housing opening.
