Receiver
1. Turn button (11) to ON to turn on the device. Battery indicator (10) turns
green. The indicator will fl ash if the batteries are too low. In this case,
recharge the batteries or plug the device in to mains power (using the AC
adaptor provided).
2. Place the receiver at a reasonable distance (too close creates audio
feedback, producing a larsen eff ect in the loud-speaker).
3. When it receives the signal, the transmission indicator lights up (15). The
stronger the voice, the more LED lights come on. This visual alarm function
can be useful when the receiver sound is minimum.
4. The volume is adjusted from the + (12) and - (13) controls. There are 4
volume levels.
5. Selecting vibration mode: to select vibration mode simply place the ON/OFF/
vibrator control button (11) on the lowest position.
NB: the vibration strength follows the strength of the baby's voice.
6. Once the reveiver is beyond the communication range of transmitter for over
30sec, an out-of-range alarm will be heard. The LED (15) starts fl ashing. The
alarm will go off only when the receiver falls back within the communication
range of transmitter.
NB: this alarm will also be heard in case the transmitter is switched off or its
battery has run down, or its power is cut off , or the pairing is lost between the
transmitter and receiver.

WARNINGS
- The Babyphone must not be seen as a medical appliance. In addition to using
the Babyphone it is strongly recommended that an adult should examine
your baby directly. Premature babies or children considered to be at risk
must be examined by your paediatrician or other health worker.
- Never be far away from your child – even for a short instant.
- Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
- The rechargeable batteries must be removed from the appliance before being
recharged.
- Do not mix new and used batteries, or rechargeable and alkaline batteries.
- The rechargeable batteries must only be charged with an adult's supervision.
- The batteries have to be inserted with the right polarity (+/-).
- Used batteries have to be removed from the appliance.
- The power terminals must not be short-circuited.
- Always use the battery for the receiver supplied by the manufacturer: if the
battery is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales
service, or similarly qualifi ed persons so as to avoid any danger.
- For optimum use of your babyphone, and to limit any interference, we
recommend that you do not connect any other electric appliance to the same
power point as your babyphone (do not use a multi-socket adaptor).
PRECAUTIONS
• Only use the mains adapters supplied.
The use of other adapters may damage the Babyphone.
• When you do not use the Babyphone for a prolonged period remove all the
batteries from the transmitter and the battery from the receiver to avoid any
damage due to a leaking battery.
• Disconnect the mains adapter from the wall socket when you do not use the
Babyphone.
• The Babyphone works better in a range of temperature between 0 °C and +
45 °C.
• Do not expose the Babyphone for a prolonged period to direct sunlight and do
not place it next to a heat source or in a damp or very dusty room.
• Do not dismantle the appliance: it does not contain any parts that can be used
separately.
• Electric and electronic equipment are subject to selective waste collection.
Do not dispose of electric and electronic equipment with unsorted municipal
refuse but have it recycled.
Throughout the European Union this symbol indicates that this product
must not be thrown in the rubbish bin or mixed with domestic waste
but should be sorted for recycling.
Solutions

ALIMENTAZIONE
Trasmettitore
A. Funzionamento a pile.
Premete il bottone di bloccaggio e fate scorrere il coperchio del vano delle pile
nella direzione indicata. Inserite 3 pile alcaline di tipo AAA nel vano. Rispettate le
indicazioni di polarità (+/-). Richiudete il coperchio.
B. Funzionamento su rete domestica tramite l'adattatore.
Il trasmettitore e il ricevitore possono essere alimentati con la corrente di rete
utilizzando l'adattatore 5V AC fornito. Collegare la presa di uscita del adattatore al
jack DC (9) del trasmettitore, assicurandosi che la polarità sia corretta.
NOTA: per ottenere migliori prestazioni, non mescolare pile usate e nuove, pile
alcaline e ricaricabili.

Per ricaricare il ricevitore collegare la spina di uscita dell'adattatore micro USB
(17).
La spia di ricarica (18) si illumina in rosso per indicare che l'unità si sta
ricaricando.
Quando la batteria è completamente carica, la spia di ricarica diventa verde
(occorrono circa 4 ore).
A questo punto si può accendere il ricevitore per utilizzarlo.
L'indicatore di accensione, di batterie in esaurimento (10) passa al verde, per
indicare che la batteria è completamente carica.
Si può scollegare l'adattatore del ricevitore oppure lasciarlo collegato senza
rischio di danneggiare la batteria.
Quando il ricevitore rimane collegato, l'adattatore ricarica automaticamente le
batterie non appena registra un livello troppo debole. Quando il ricevitore è in
ricarica, la spia di batterie deboli (10) si accende in rosso.
NOTA: Prima di utilizzare il ricevitore per la prima volta, ricaricare le batterie
Ni-mH fornite per almeno 4 ore. Ricordarsi di spegnere l'unità completamente
prima di questa prima ricarica.
Aggiungere il processo di abbinamento come indicato a pagina 6.

UTILIZZAZIONE
Trasmettitore
1. Accendete l'apparecchio mediante il bottone (1) in posizione ON. L'indicatore di
batteria (6) si accende in verde. Se l'indicatore comincia a lampeggiare, le pile
sono troppo deboli e vanno sostituite oppure l'apparecchio va collegato alla rete
elettrica (grazie all'adattatore AC fornito).
2. Regolate la sensibilità del microfono mediante i bottoni (2) (3) ▲▼ : potrete
così selezionare il livello sonoro a partire dal quale l'apparecchio trasmetterà
i suoni percepiti dal microfono (8). L'illuminazione della luce notturna (5)
cambierà di conseguenza. Una luminosità più elevata signifi ca che il microfono
(8) è più sensibile al rumore. Quando la luce notturna (5) visualizza il livello più
luminoso, l'apparecchio è in modalità di trasmissione continua e l'indicatore di
trasmissione (7) si accende in modo continuo, l'apparecchio trasmette verso
il ricevitore anche quando non percepirà nessun suono. Con una sensibilità
inferiore, l'apparecchio è in modo VOX (si attiva con la voce).
3. Quando il trasmettitore intercetta il minimo rumore proveniente dal bambino, si
mette in funzione e l'indicatore di trasmissione (7) si illumina in rosso.
4. Quando il bambino smette di piangere, il trasmettitore ritorna in modalità di
stand-by e l'indicatore di trasmissione (7) si spegne.
5. Posizionare il trasmettitore vicino al bambino con il microfono (8) rivolto verso
di lui, ma fuori dalla sua portata; di preferenza a circa 1 metro di distanza.
6. Attivazione dello stand-by: posizionare l'interruttore di messa in marcia su
stand-by (1).
