Pressure Roller

This mechanism makes sure
that the hot roller and pressure
roller touch only when the
machine makes copies.
This prevents damage to the
pressure roller.
This is done with a cam and
pressure lever.
The fusing pressure release
motor controls the mechanism.
The fusing pressure release HP
sensor detects the correct time
to switch the motor off.
There is no pressure
adjustment. Pressure is
applied, or not applied.
