Troubleshooting

Caution: Always unplug the backpack before attempting to solve a problem or when servicing.
Problem
Cause
Power cord not firmly plugged into
power point.
Vacuum cleaner not turned on.
Vacuum
Thermal protector shuts off
cleaner not
vacuum cleaner due to high motor
working
temperature.
Circuit breaker or RCD has tripped.
Dust bag full.
Dust bag not installed correctly.
Vacuum
Hose not installed correctly.

Solution
Plug power cord into power point firmly.
Press on/off button.
Turn main switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner.
Conduct safety and maintenance checks found in
this Product and Training Manual. After 30 minutes
the vacuum cleaner should be ready for use. If not
contact Pacvac for your nearest Authorised Pacvac
Service and Warranty Agent.
Check the machine is in good working order. If OK,
reset circuit breaker or RCD. If circuit breaker or
RCD trips again contact your nearest Authorised
Pacvac Service and Warranty Agent.
Remove, empty and clean dust bag.
Remove and empty dust bag making sure the
rubber seal is fitted correctly.
Reconnect hose and ensure correctly sealed.
Remove hose, wand and floor tools; remove any
blockages.
Clean filters.
Refit filter making sure the rubber edging is correctly
fitted around the filter retainer.
