6.3.2 POWER SOURCE LOAD TEST

Verify that the power source is able to deliver rated load, and that the output metering function
of the controller is also checked.
The test proceeds in the manner below.
1.
Set the power source for 3φ Output (2φ for models 105, 108, 112, 125, 140 and
160-AMX), Direct-coupled, CSC Enabled.
2.
Attach a full-rated load to the φA output terminal. (Refer to the list in paragraph 6.2
for the proper load.)
3.
Set the output for full-rated voltage and close the Output contactor.
4.
Verify that the output voltage remains constant (within load regulation limits) and that
the output metering reads correct values.
5.
Open the Output Contactor.
6.
Repeat for φB output.
7.
For 3 Phase models, repeat for φC output.
8.
Configure for 1φ output and repeat above procedure.
9.
If system is outfitted with transformer outputs, set the power source for 3φ Output (2φ
for models 105, 108, 140 and 160-AMX), Transformer-coupled, CSC Enabled.
10.
Verify that the output voltage and power source meters read properly.
