is displayed
Tire Pressure Monitoring will relearn the wheels
once you have returned to road mode. Meanwhile,
the required pressures for cold tires (20 °C) are
displayed in the Fill info menu.
f Please see chapter „Teaching in the tire
pressure monitoring system" on page 217.
e Once the Tire Pressure Monitoring has
finished learning, check the tire pressure for
all wheels in the Fill info menu.
e Correct the tire pressure to the required pres-
sure if necessary (pressure difference 0.0).
– Yes:
If you select Yes, this retains the tire pressures
that you set for driving on a race circuit for
monitoring.
– New pressure:
If you select New pressure, you can set new tire
pressures for driving on the race circuit for
monitoring.
Information
If you make no selection before driving off, the
system automatically switches back to road mode
and the message Tire change? Update settings
appears.
e Update the multifunction display settings the
next time the vehicle is stationary.
Tire pressure warnings
The tire pressure warning light
panel and a corresponding message on the
multifunction display warn about loss of pressure in
two stages (yellow and red tire pressure warning,
depending on the amount of pressure loss).
Information
Race track mode (718 Cayman GT4 only):
– If the actual pressure falls below 23 psi (1.6 bar)
(e.g. due to cooling), a red warning is issued.
The red warning stops as soon as the actual
pressure is above 23 psi (1.6 bar) (e.g. due to
warming).
– If the pressure also falls below the warning
threshold, the warning only stops when the tires
are filled to the required pressure again (pressure
difference 0.0) or a new required pressure is set in
the Race track menu.
e Always check tires for damage before filling to the
required pressure (pressure difference 0.0).
Information
The tire pressure warning light goes out only when
the tire pressure has been corrected to the required
pressure.
The yellow tire pressure warning appears for approx.
10 seconds when the vehicle is stationary and the
ignition has been switched off or when the ignition is
switched on again.
The yellow tire pressure warning can be
acknowledged when the ignition is switched on.
The red tire pressure warning also appears during
driving and can be acknowledged.

Messages" on page 253.
