WARNING
The edges of the cutting cylinder and bottom
blade are sharp, and contact with them can
cause injury.
Take care to avoid the sharp edges of the
cutting cylinder and bottom blade when lifting
or working on the cutting unit.
WARNING
The cutting unit is heavy; lifting the cutting
unit improperly could cause injury.
Use suitable lifting equipment when removing
the cutting unit from the carton and during
installation.

Preparing the Machine

1.
Move the machine to a level surface.
2.
Lower the cutting units completely to the ground.

Inspect the cutting unit.
Convert the cutting unit from left to right
configuration.
Adjust the hand-wheel assemblies.

Shut off the engine and remove the key.
4.
Engage the parking brake.
5.
Ensure that there is no pressure in the hydraulic
system.

Set the battery-disconnect switch to the O

Inspecting the Cutting Unit

Check that all parts are delivered correctly.

Remove the cutting unit from the carton and
check that all loose items have been supplied
correctly.
