Converting the Cutting
Unit from Left to Right
Configuration
No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Remove the protective cover and discard it
(Figure 2).
2. Remove the snap ring
Note:
The snap ring is fitted to the drive end
only.

3. Remove the counterweight and O-ring and
install them to the non-drive end
(Figure 2).

4. Tighten each of the 2 socket-head cap screws
to a torque of 80 N·m (59 ft-lb).
5. Install the snap ring to the drive end.
6. Repeat the procedure for the other cutting units.

1. Remove the nut, bolt, and washer from the

and bearing-adjuster pin that attaches the
hand-wheel assembly to the cutting unit, and
then remove the hand-wheel assembly
