Insert the supplied earphone into the earphone
jack.

Turn the VOL control/power switch upward. You
will hear a click.
The power is turned on and the power indicator
lights.
When the power indicator does not light
The built-in battery is discharged. Charge the
battery. You can use a fully charged battery for
about 22 hours continuously.
For an explanation of how to recharge the battery, see
"Charging the receiver batteries" on page 19.

Select the channel to be monitored with the CH
selector.
The selected channel number appears in the CH
display window.
Note
To ensure that the receiver can pick up the
infrared, face the infrared receiving lens of the
receiver towards the infrared radiator.

Adjust the sound volume with the VOL control/
power switch.

Attach the receiver to your clothing, using the
clip, such that the infrared receiving lens faces
towards the infrared radiators.
When there is nowhere on your clothing to
which to attach the receiver
Attach the supplied strap to the receiver's clip and
hang the receiver around your neck.
