Tilt Angle Adjustment

Tilt angle is the degree in which the display panel can be tilted vertically. The monitor is designed to allow for a tilt
angle of up to 45 degrees. See diagram for illustration.
To maintain an optimum viewing angle, the monitor should be tilted to an angle that is perpendicular to the viewing
direction.
The monitor has a firm pivoting hinge. To adjust the tilt angle, hold the monitor by the sides and pivot at the middle
portion of the screen. See diagram for illustration.
Automatic Screen Adjustment (Fig. 5)
The monitor has an automatic screen adjustment feature. This feature allows the user to conveniently adjust the pic-
ture to its optimum level of display quality. To activate this feature, simply press and hold the EXIT/AUTO button down
for at least one second. Upon releasing the button, the monitor will automatically adjust the screen parameters, such as
the phase and screen width to their most optimum levels. The adjustment will take about 5 seconds to complete, and
the user can choose to accept or reject the new settings upon completion. This feature is particularly useful when the
display mode is being altered by the software application, e.g., switching tasks between the desktop and playing
games. However, when using the DVI video input (optional), this feature is no longer necessary as the incoming digital
signal is already in its optimum adjustment levels.
Control Panel (Fig. 6)
The OSD menu allows the user to adjust the myriad of display parameters offered by this monitor. To activate the OSD
menu, press the 4 MENU button. To deactivate it, press the 3 EXIT button. Button 3, 4, 5, and 6 have dual usage, depend-
ing on the state of the OSD menu.
