REMOVING CONDENSATE WATER DURING AN EMERGENCY (fig.33)
if there should be a malfunction in the condensation water drain system, the unit stops, then signals, with
flashing orange, green and red lights (the second and third LEDs from the left), the alarm status.
to temporarily enable the unit to operate until the service personnel arrive, you can drain the water out by
following these simple instructions:
a. remove the lower cover (9).
b. Place a container to capture the water (at least 0.3 l/ 10 ounces), the remove the cap.
c. after clearing the fault re-install the plug.

2.6 - ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

this unit has been designed to reduce routine maintenance operations to a minimum. Cleaning or replacing
the air filter at minimum of once per month or as needed if the red LED lights up. This procedure can be
performed by the end user.
Cleaning the condensing battery and condensate management system must be carried out by qualified
technicians on a regular schedule based on frequency of use.
Depending on the quantity of dirt, the unit can be cleaned dry by using a battery compressor and bowl.
Clean the fins with a soft brush taking care not to damage or bend them or A more thorough cleaning can
be performed using non-acidic, environmentally friendly detergents. Before you leaving the site gather
up all packing material and use a damp cloth to gently clean the surface of the unit.
To prevent unnecessary service calls from the user and before leaving the site explain remote control
and system operation to the end user.
Also explain how to safely clean the filter by first deenergizing the unit.
2.6.1 -

CLEANING THE AIR FILTER

Removing or cleaning the filter must be performed with the unit deenergized.
The procedure for removing the filter is as follows:
a. Manually unhook and turn the front air aspiration grill as indicated in fig. 30
b. Lift the front part of the filter (3) (fig. 30).
c. Pull slightly to remove the edge from the upper grid.
d. Remove the two supplementary filters, green purifying filter (F1) and black active carbon filter (F2) from
the filter unit (fig.36).
e. Carefully wash and dry the filters.
f. Fit the black active carbon filter (F2) on the filter rack (3) and lock it to the specific tongues (fig.36).
g. Fit the purifying filter green (F1) on the first pin that is on the filter unit, pull it slightly and lock it on the
other two pins.
h. Refit the filter unit by inserting the rear edge into the grid (3).
i. lower the front edge on the unit.
l. Reclose and hook the front air aspiration grill (3) (fig.37).
to deactivate leD a (if on), after having powered and started the appliance, press the micro key positioned
on the signal console (G) (fig.B) with a pointy object for a brief instant. By doing so, the signal related to the
filter cleaning requirement is reset.
