4.2 - MAINTENANCE

if the unit will be unused for an extended period it is recommended that you unplug or de-energize the unit
and remove the batteries from the remote control.
4.2.1 -

Routine maintenance

the unit requires periodic maintenance to ensure peak performance while using the lowest energy possible.
the frequency of the required maintenance depends on the application and environment surrounding the
unit. recommended timing below should be adjusted accordingly.
• Clean or wash the air filters at least once per month or every time the dirty filter alarm lights up.
• Inspect and clean the refrigerant coils and the condensate management system at least once per year.
• Maintenance should be performed by skilled technicians.
The installer should gather up all packing material and use a damp cloth to remove
any traces of dust or dirt during assembly (fig. 24). It's also recommended to ex-
plain system operation to the end user, show them how to remove and clean the
air filters then make them familiar with the installation and operating instructions.
