    WARNINGS 1. Children must not use or play with this appliance unless supervised by an adult 2. If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by licensed and qualified HVAC technician*. 3. Installation, initial start-up and maintenance, with the exception of the air filter cleaning and washing, must be performed by qualified personnel.

    - The height of the unit's lower edge from the floor must be at least 4”. - If fixed to the wall in the highest position, it must be at least 3.5” from the ceiling. - The wall on which the inside unit is installed must be sturdy and able to withstand its weight.

Do not attempt to manually open or close the modulating damper or spray corrosive cleaning agents into the unit. Do not allow curtains or other hanging materials to block the flow of air entering or exiting the unit.

    USE AND MAINTENANCE WARNINGS * The installation and electrical connection of the unit should be performed performed by qualified personnel. No objects, such as furniture, curtains, plants, leaves, blinds, etc., should be allowed to obstruct the normal flow of air from either the internal or external gratings.

    Operational Modes - Turning The Unit On/Off 3.3.3 Button T1 is used to switch the unit off (stand-by mode) or to switch the unit back on. An EPROM contained in the unit’s control board system settings are retained when the unit is shut off or de-energized. NOTE: If the unit will not be used for an extended period of time it should be de-energized by turning off the main power supply or pulling the plug from the wall socket.

    3.3.13 Night Mode (heating) To activate Night Mode (heating), first set the operational mode to heating and set the desired room temperature. Now press the T4 button. Ideally night mode is selected just as you go to bed. The heating setpoint is maintained for one hour. During the next two hours the heating setpoint is gradually lowered while the fan is run low speed.
