6. Begin agitation Some formulations of liquid chemicals do not remain in solution and should be
if needed agitated to maintain a uniform mix.
The pressure regulator on this sprayer can be used as an agitator. If the pressure is
set below the pump's pressure switch setting (70 psi), the pump will continue to run
even when not spraying. Fluid will be diverted through the pressure regulator back
to the tank. This bypass fluid will keep the contents of the tank well-mixed.
Operation – Using the Sprayer
Note: If the pressure regulator knob is completely tightened, the pressure setting
will be higher than the pressure switch on the pump (70 psi). This allows the
pump to operate as a demand pump and turn on only when spraying.
