Mark on the wall and drill with a Ø10 drill bit
openings A, B and C with diameter ø10, and
opening D and E with a Ø 6 drill, taking into account
the distance between the installation openings.
Insert the plastic wall plugs in the drilled holes.
Tighten the screws in wall plugs A and B.
Install by means of screws in wall plugs D and E the
fixing bar of the chimney bodies.
Hang the range hood on the mounting hooks.
Fully tighten the screws.
Tighten a screw in wall plug C.
Connect the flexible aluminium pipe to the outlet
of the range hood and to the chimney, taking into
account that the bends and curves reduce the
absorption power, so they should be reduced to the
minimum.
Ensure that the connection will not get loose when
the appliance operates at maximum power.
Install the chimney bodies by fixing them to the
range hood and the hook.
INSTALLATION OF SL 400 60 LX
Mark on the bottom of the cabinet and drill 4 holes
with diameter ø3, taking into account the distance
between the installation openings.
Mark and cut the opening for the outlet metal pipe
of ø120, and consider that the opening should be of
bigger diameter.
Install the range hood to the bottom of the cabinet
with 4 screws М4х30.
Place the non-return flap at the outlet of the range
hood.
Connect the flexible aluminium pipe to the outlet
of the range hood and to the chimney, taking into
account that the bends and curves reduce the
absorption power, so they should be reduced to the
minimum.
Ensure that the connection will not get loose when
the appliance operates at maximum power
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Do not bend or crush the power cord during
installation! Otherwise the cord may get damaged.
RISK OF INJURY!
There is risk of injury during installation because
of the sharp edges. During installation always use
protective gloves.
All safety bolts and safety covers shall be installed in the
way specified in the instructions, otherwise the appliance
may fall..

OPERATION OF THE RANGE HOODS
The accessible parts may get hot while the
appliance is operating in combination with
operating hot plates under it.
CH 3120 60 LX and SL 400 60 LX range hoods share
similar operation logics. They are operated by five
buttons located on the front panel of the range hood
for comfortable and easy access. The display shows the
ventilation speed.
SL 400 60 LX controls are activated when You pull the
front panel forwards. Turning off the range hood is done
by pushing the panel back.

Description of the control buttons shown in figure 3:
– Button for switching on/off the fan
"-" – Button for reducing the ventilation speed
"+" – Button for increasing the ventilation speed
– Timer for delayed switch off
– Button for switching on/off the lightening
The range hood is switched on by the button
shows a number from 1 to 5 denoting the ventilation speed.
Increasing the ventilation speed is done by pressing the
button "+", and for reducing the ventilation speed you
should press the button "-". The in-built lightening of the
range hood is switched on/off by pressing the button
pressing the button
you will activate the timer function
for delayed switch off, and when 15 minutes have expired
the range hood will automatically switch off.
OPERATING THE RANGE HOOD WITH AND
WITHOUT ACTIVE CARBON
Do not use the appliance without filters!
TESY range hoods are intended for use with standard
aluminium filters and also with filters with carbon which
may be purchased separately.
If there is not a chimney in the room the range hood shall
be used with a carbon filter to clean the air. This filter
is not included in the package, but you can purchase
it from Your supplier or service centre. In this manner
of operation the filter shall be replaced with a new one
every 3 to 5 months depending on the frequency of use.
