User Equation
Input example
To input the equation for ΔE*ab
as a User Equation, it would be:
SQRT(POW([DL]+POW[DA]+POW[DB])
Input Format
A User Equation is defined using numbers and strings for measurement value variables and functions.
• Parameter strings are explained in Input Format below.
• The total length of a User Equation definition including numbers and string parameters is 200 characters.
Numerical constants
Numbers can be input as constants using 0 to 9 and the decimal point.
Although there is no limit on the number of decimal places that can be input, the number of significant digits for
calculations is 5 places.
Measurement value variables
Common variables
• Calculations will be performed using the SCI/SCE setting of the current screen. In the SCI screen, SCI values will
be used and in the SCE screen, SCE values will be used.
