Maintenance

The fi replace is made of 2 mm Corten steel, which develops
a "rough" rusted surface after a short time. This rusty layer
protects the metal fi replace from the elements, which means it
can be left outdoors all year round. Corten steel is also used on
building façades to achieve a rusted look.
NB: Rust can run down onto the surface and cause stains
that are diffi cult to remove. The surface should therefore be
covered to protect it.
NB: The fi replace must not be surface treated.
