grammed off.
Valet pulse count: The number of presses of the Valet button
required to disarm the security system, AED, or the VRS
system can be programmed from one to five presses. The
default setting is o o n n e e press.
Siren tones and chirp volume: The output of the siren
consists of six different tones in sequence. Any of these tones
can be eliminated by your dealer, resulting in a unique, easily
identifiable siren sound. The siren chirps can be either full
volume or s s i i x x d d e e c c i i b b e e l l s s q q u u i i e e t t e e r r than the full alarm blast.

The system has many options that may require extra parts and
labor. Some of the possibilities are listed here.
Progressive unlocking: In most cars with electric power door
locks, the system can be configured so that when the system is
disarmed, only the driver's door unlocks. A second press of the
button unlocks the other doors. (This feature is available
with the four-button transmitter only.)
Vehicle Recovery System (VRS
device designed to help in the safe recovery of your vehicle
in case of a carjacking. Please refer to the Vehicle Recovery
System section of this guide for a complete explanation of
how the Vehicle Recovery System operates.
