STOP! Read safety information on previous page and front
cover of this manual before continuing.
1.
Turn off all electrical power to fireplace.
ATTENTION: This fireplace is equipped with an ignition device
which automatically lights the pilot.
DO NOT light the pilot by hand.
2.
Press hand held remote MODE button to OFF.
3.
Wait five (5) minutes to allow any gas that may have accumulated
inside firebox to escape. If you then smell gas, STOP! Follow safety
information on front cover and on previous page of this
installation manual. If you don‟t smell gas, go to next step.
4.
Turn ON all electrical power to fireplace.
5.
Press hand held remote MODE button to ON.
CAUTION: If fireplace will not operate, follow instructions
TURNING OFF GAS TO FIREPLACE and call
your service technician or the gas supplier.
NOTE: When fireplace is initially lit, condensation will appear
on the glass; this is normal in all gas fireplaces and will
disappear after several minutes.
TURNING OFF GAS TO FIREPLACE
1.
Press hand held remote MODE button to OFF.
2.
Turn OFF all electrical power to fireplace if service is required.
3.
Turn manual shut-off valve to OFF.
