    NOTE: The SP-RY provides four relays. Each set of two shares a common ground. Physical Description The SP-RY is a small unit with a permanently attached 3 ft. (91 cm) device cable. The device cable consists of six wires, with stripped and soldered ends. A 3ft. (91 cm) Serial Data Cable is supplied for connection to the SmartPresenter or the SmarTouch ST-CP systems.

    Setup SP-RY with SmartPresenter Connect the 3.5 mm, Serial Data Cable (supplied) to the input port on the SP-RY. Connect the other end of the cable to one of the outputs on the SP-1. The device cable should be connected to the appropriate devices.
  • Page 8 SP-RY with SmarTouch Connect the 3.5 mm, Serial Data Cable (supplied) to the input port on the SP-RY. Connect the other end of the cable to one of the outputs on the ST-CP. The cable should be connected to the appropriate control device.

    When used with a CNMSX there are additional hardware requirements. Connect the stereo plug of the CNSP-112 into the input port of the SP-RY. Connect the Phoenix type connector to of the CNSP-112 to one of the IR output ports on the CNMSX.

    This example allows a touchpanel to control a lift via the IR-Device (SP-RY). Feedback is provided to alert the touchpanel user that a button is, in fact, being pressed. The IR Device represents the driver for the SP-RY. This SP-RY driver can be located in the Crestron Database (version 11.7.207 or later).

    (3) years from the date of shipment to purchaser. Disk drives and any other moving or rotating mechanical parts are covered for a period of one (1) year. CRESTRON warrants all its other products for a period of one year from the defects mentioned above, excluding touchscreen display components which are covered for 90 days.
