ANTI STICK
If the electrode does not ignite, or the arc goes out while the electrode is being welded, it
may stick to the part to be welded. This situation is detected by the electronic board of the
machine and the welding current is automatically reduced. This allows you to free the
stuck electrode from the surface to be welded by moving it back and forth.
While the electrode is stuck the warning LED light
turns on. A short circuit between
the electrode holder and the work clamp is indicated in the same way. If the electrode
cannot be detached, remove the electrode holder and remove it manually using the
appropriate protection and tweezers. Be careful as the electrode can be very hot.
Duty cycle excess protection or thermal control device.
When there is protection by reaching the maximum duty cycle, or by internal heating of
the machine, the arc is extinguished and the LED
that identifies protection of the
machine is illuminated, while the welder cools down to continue its normal operation. Do
not turn off the welder, allow the fans of the equipment to cool the machine's power
components until the LED light
turns off. Only until this moment can the machine
be switched off or start welding again.
Note: to preserve the power components of the welding machine from heat accumulation,
do not disconnect it immediately after activation of the protection, as described above.
Overvoltage protection.
The machine is equipped with an overvoltage protection circuit, if the value of the mains
voltage exceeds the allowed value, the protection turns on. If the failure is due to over
voltage, turn off the machine, check the current and once the voltage is at normal values,
start operating the machine.
