Gas valve adjustment

The adjustment of the gas output is achieved by using the two
screws V1 and V2 (Fig. 12).
To alter the maximum output of gas act on the screw V1.
To increase the output: turn the screw in a counterclockwise
direction (unscrew).
To decrease the output: turn the screw in a clockwise
direction (screw).
To alter the minimum output of gas act on the screw V2 on the
gas valve. Remove the protection screw and act on the intern
screws with a hex key.
To increase the output, turn the screw in a clockwise direction
(screw)
To decrease the output: turn the screw in a counterclockwise
direction (unscrew)
Definition of the adjustments for the fan
The adjustments are carried out means on three potentiometers
on board of the motor control box.
START
determines the air during the start-up phase
MIN
determines the minimum modulation
MAX
determines the maximum modulation
The adjustment of "MIN" takes place outright at finishing the pre-
purging outlined by the valve opening and by the presence of the
discharge.
The authorisation to the maximum modulation with "MAX" occurs
about 10 sec by the valve opening.

Burner adjustment

The optimum adjustment of the burner requires an analysis of
flue gases at the boiler outlet. In conformity with EN 676, the
burner application at the generator, the adjustment and the
testing must be carried out in compliance with the instruction
manual of the generator itself, including the control of the CO and
CO
concentration in the flue gases and of their temperature.

6.6.1
Maximum output
Maximum output should match the value required by the
boiler that is used. To increase or decrease its value, adjust the
trimmer MAX located on the control box Fig. 11.
Measure the gas delivery on the counter to precisely establish the
burnt output.
Measure CO2 or O2 values using a flue gases analyser
for the optimised burner calibration.
The correct values are: CO2 8.5 ÷ 9% or O2 5÷5.5%.
To correct these values act on the gas valve in the following way:
To increase the gas output and CO2: turn the screw V1 in a
counterclockwise direction (unscrew).
To decrease the gas output and CO2: turn the screw V1 in a
clockwise direction (screw).

6.6.2
Minimum output
Minimum output should match the value required by the boiler
that is used. To increase or decrease its value, adjust the trimmer
MIN located on the control box (Fig. 11).
Measure the gas delivery on the counter to precisely establish the
burnt output.
Measure CO2 or O2 values using a flue gases analyser
for the optimised burner calibration.
The correct values are: CO2 8.5÷9% or O2 5÷5.5%.
To correct these values act on the gas valve in the following way:
To increase the gas output and CO2: turn the screw V2 in a
clockwise direction (screw).
To decrease the gas output and CO2: turn the screw V2 in a
counterclockwise direction (screw).
6.6.3
Ignition output
The ignition output can be varied by acting on the trimmer
START located on the control box (Fig. 11).
Do not modify gas valve adjustments to change
ignition output.
