General safety notes for electric tools
Warning!
Read all safety notes and instructions. Non-compliance with the safety notes and
instructions can lead to electric shock, fire and/ or serious injury.
Keep all safety notes and instructions for future reference. The term "electric tool" used throughout
this manual refers to wired electric tools (with electricity cable).
Working area safety
Keep the working area clean and well lit. Cluttered/untidy or badly illuminated working areas
can lead to accidents.
Do not work in explosion endangered areas, which contain burnable substances, gases
or dusts with this electric tool. Electric tools create sparks, which can ignite dusts or vapours.
Keep children and other people away when working with the electric tool. Distractions can
lead to loss of control.
Electric safety
The connector plug of the electric tool needs to fit into the socket. The plug must in no
way be altered! Do not use any adapters together with earthed electric tools. Unaltered
plugs and matching sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cookers, and refrig-
erators. There is an increased risk of electric shock, when your body is touching an earthed
object.
Keep electric tools away from rain or dampness. Water entering into an electric tool in-
creases the risk of electric shock.
Do not use the cable for other purposes, such as carrying, hanging or pulling the device
from the socket. Keep the cable clear from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Dam-
aged or twisted cables increase the risk of electric shock.
When working with an electric tool outside, only use extension cables suitable for the
outside area. The use of an extension cable suitable for the outside area reduces the risk of
electric shock.
